Age of Performance
We've heard your concerns about lag on the server, especially caused by a large number of Slimefun nodes. Many of you have reported performance issues, and we want you to know we're listening!
To help address this, we have developed a custom mod designed to reduce the lag from these nodes, improving performance for everyone. The mod is currently in beta, but we've tested many aspects and it's stable enough for public release.
Below are two screenshots comparing the FPS at Jukelyn's Skyblock island -- with and without the mod. Keep in mind, this is just from one mod! AOP is also compatible with most popular performance mods (around 99%), so feel free to use it alongside others like Sodium or Lithium.

Performance Results
After investigating why Slimefun heads like cargo and plants are so laggy, Vrganj was able to pinpoint and fix the issue directly with a simple Fabric mod. The optimizations are specific to our custom. Slimefun fork, which means it won't work elsewhere—but that also allows for far greater performance gains than generic mods.
Let the numbers speak for themselves! We benchmarked the mod against popular performance mods at Jukelyn's Skyblock island, a particularly laggy spot due to massive arrays of magic plants. Even integrated GPUs like the Radeon R3 saw a noticeable boost, while higher-end systems like the Apple M4 gained massive FPS improvements.

How to Install
It's simple! You only need the Fabric Launcher and the Fabric API. Once you have those set up,
drop the mod file into your mods folder like any other Fabric mod.
